Good Afternoon Everyone;
I just wanted to update you on a few important things happening here at Colonial Day School for the months of October thru December.
We will be having our annual Halloween children’s costume party and parade around the neighborhood on Wednesday, October 31 at 10:00 am. The children really enjoy just walking down the street and waving at the neighbors in our quiet neighborhood and then coming inside to finish their party which by the way…..normally goes on all day long.
November is “Giving Thanks” month and we will be having our Thanksgiving celebration for the children on Wednesday, November 14 .
The children’s Christmas Program will be held on Friday, December 7 at 10:00 am and our Christmas Luncheon for the children will be on Wednesday, December 19.

We are now preparing for our 2017/2018 Academic School Year. We are very excited about the new school year and hope you and your family will join us on this great adventure. Good Afternoon All, Just wanted to share some GREAT, AWESOME, WONDERFUL news with you……Our inspector was in today and did 2 inspections today ….. our subsidy inspection and our licensing inspection – I am VERY PROUD to report we had “0” violations on both of them. The staff here works very hard to insure that all children and their families are safe and all standards are met. When you see your child’s teacher congratulate them…they will be thrilled you know. Thank you

We had such a terrific time so far this week with the children they have had fun while eating and learning…Come join in the fun :)
We had such a great time today …. Mr. Scott Mahone, Deputy of Emergency Management, City of Norfolk, joined our school-age children to give them a program titled : “Pillow Case Program” – This program is to teach the children how to be prepared in the even of a real emergency disaster.

Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm titled “Why Don’t My Kids Want to Listen?”.
